I received this today from my daughtere it made me feel good and hope it does the same for you.

This is a great Poem. The part in blue is something you should use to
help your self-talk. Put it on your mirror so it is the first thing
you see in the morning.

A POEM ABOUT OUR GIRLFRIENDS.........

Someone will always be prettier.
Some will always be smarter.
Some of their houses will be bigger.
Some will drive a better car.
Their children will do better in school.
And their husband will fix more things around the house.

So let it go,
and love you and your circumstances.

Think about it!

The prettiest woman in the world can have heartache in her her heart.
And the most highly favored
woman on your job may be unable to have children.
And the richest woman you know,
she's got the car, the house, the clothes....
might be lonely.

And the word says, "If I have not Love, I am nothing."
So, again, love you.
Love who you are.
Look in the mirror in the morning and smile and say,

"I am too blessed to be stressed and too anointed, to be
disappointed!"
"Winners make things happen--
Losers let things happen."

Be "blessed" ladies.....
and pass this on to encourage another woman.

"To the world you might be one person,
but to the one person you just might be the world!
SEND THIS TO YOUR FAVORITE WOMEN...I JUST DID!

"Angels Do Exist...
but, sometimes, they don't have wings,
We call them Friends!"

The Family: A Proclamation to the World

This came from a Prophet in our Day as to the Family and how he feels we are doing with our families.
Our Minister or Bishop asked the Congregation to memorize this . I have tried to do it and so far have gotten to Paragraph seven. I did not really understand what the Proclamation told me until I started to memorize it. Then I realized what it was telling me that I should be doing. I feel this man was inspired when he gave it as a challenge. Read and see what you think if, this would be a good thing for the World. There were proclamations given in the Bible in the Bible days and this is a warning from God to us in our day.

1. We, the First Presidency and the Council of the Twelve Apostles of the The Church of Jesus of Latter day Saints, solemnly proclaim that marriage between a man and woman is ordained of God and that the Family is central to the Creator's plan for the eternal destiny of His children.

2. All human beings--male and female--are created in the image of God. Each is a beloved spirit son or daughter of heavenly parents, and, as such, each has a divine nature and destiny. Gender is essential to the characteristic of individual premortal, mortal, and eternal identity and purpose.

3. In the premortal realm, spirit sons and daughters knew and worshipped God as their Eternal
Father and accepted His plan by which his children could obtain a physical body and gain earthly experience to progress towards perfection and ultimately realize his or her divine destiny and as an heir to eternal life.

4. The divine plan of happiness enables family relationships to be perpetuated beyond the grave. Sacred ordinances available in holy Temples make it possible for individuals to return to the presence of God and for families to be united eternally.

5. The first commandment that God gave to Adam and Eve to their potential for parenthood as husband and wife. We declare that God's commandment for His children to multiply and replenish the earth remains in force. We further declare that God has commanded that the sacred powers of procreation are to be employed only between man and woman, lawfully wedded as husband and wife.

6. We declare the means by which mortal life is created to be divinely appointed. We affirm the sancity of life and of its importance in God's eternal plan.

7. Husband and wife have a solemn responsibility to love and care for each other and for their children. "Children are an heritage of the Lord." (Psalms 127:3). Parents have a sacred duty to rear their children in love and righteousness to provide for their physical needsto teach them to love and serve one another, to observe the commandments of God and to be law abiding citizens wherever they live. Husbands and wives ---mothers and fathers---will be held accountable before God for the discharge of these duties.

8. The family is ordained of God. Marriage between a man and woman is essential to His eternal plan. Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony, and to be reared by a father and mother who honor their marital vows with complete fidelity.

9. Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of The Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities.

10. By divine design, fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children. In these sacred responsibilities, fathers and mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners. Disability, death, or other circumstances may necessitate individual adaptation. Extended families should lend support when needed.

11. We warn that individuals who violate covenants of chastity, who abuse spouse or offspring, or who fail to fulfill family responsibilites will one day stand accountable before God. Further
we warn that the disintegration of the family will bring upon individuals, communities, and nations the calamities foretold by ancient and modern prophets.

12. We call upon responsible citizens and officers of government everywhere to promote those measures designed to maintain and strenthen the family as the fundamental unit of society.
