Roses when you have a rose bush die all you need to do is remove it. Then you can plant another one there in its place . Just get some poultry compost and put it in the ground and mix it with some soil and then you can plant your bush give it some miracle grow and fill the hole with water before you put the bush in the hole. Fill it up then add some more water to settle the soil around the bush and tap it down with your foot around the base of the trunk. You can also call the nursery and make sure this is what you need to do. I did not get the exact amountof poultry compost to put in the hole.
