HOMEMADE POTHOLDER

Supplies Needed.

4 ply yarn
E crochet hook

Cast on 33 stitches then single crochet to the end and chain 1. Keep going around in a circle until the two sides meet. Sew
them together

CROCHETED SCRUBBERS

Finished Measurements:

Approximately 3 1/2 inches in diameter.

Materials needed: Approximately 2 yards of nylon netting cut 3" wide. (Strips can be cut from a bolt yard of netting or
purchase 3" wide netting on a spool) size G or K crochet hook, large tapestry needle and scissors.
Ch 3. Sl st in first ch made to form ring. Ch 3. RND 2 2 dc in same st, 3 dc in next st and each st around. Fasten off. Make
a second, leaving enough netting to sew two scrubbers together if desired.

Crocheted Kitchen Handtowel
Materials: One skein of lily sugar 'n' cream, a worsted weight cotton yard packaged in 2.5 ounce skeins. Makes one dish
towel and a dish cloth to match. You'll also need sizes 5, F and G crochet hooks: an ice pick or sharp-pointed skewer; a
plastic ring: and a tapestry needle.

Instructions are give for small with changes for medium and large in parentheses. Decide which insturctions you need to
follow by measuring the width of your dish towel: 14-18 inches, small; 18-21 inces, medium; and 21-24 inches, large.

Row 1 Using smallest hook and ice pick or skewer to make holes, sc 65 (77,89) sts across top of towel. Row 2 With size F
hook, ch 3, turn. Dc in next st and each st across-65(77,89) sts. Ch 3, turn. Row 3 *sk 1 dc, dc in next dc; repeat from *
across- 33(39,45)sts. Ch 3 turn. Row 4 Repeat Row 3-17(20,23) sts. Row 5 Dc in next dc and each dc across. Ch 3, turn
Row 6 Dc in next dc, "sk1 dc. dc in next 2 dc; repeat from *to end- 12, (14-16) sts. Ch 3, turn. Row 7 and 8
Dc in next dc and each dc across. Ch 3, turn. Row 9 (sk next dc, dc in next dc) 1 (2,2) times, sk next dc, dc in each of next 4
(2,4) dc, (sk next dc, dc in nexr dc) 2 (3,3) times 8(8,10) sts. Ch 3, turn. Rows 10-18 dc in next dc and each dc across. Ch 3,
turn. Row 19 Dc in next dc and each dc across. Ch 5, turn. Row 20 sl st in top of end st on previous row. Work 8 sc in
ch-5lp. fasten off.

Button: With size G hook, work 25 sc around 1-inch plastic ring, leaving a 10-inch length. Thread tapestry needle with length
and waeave in and out through top of stitches. Pull tightly, making a couple of stitches to secure . Sew button to middle of row
10.

Crocheted Dishcloth
With size F hook, ch 32 Row 1 Dc in 4th ch from hook and each ch across row-30 dc. Ch 3, turn Row 2 In space between
2nd and 3rd dc work 2 dc, sk next sp, 2 dc in next sp: repeat from * across row, ending 1 dc in top of ch c. Ch 3, turn. Row
3 Dc in sp between first and 2nd dc. *sk next sp, 2 dc in next sp, repeat from *across row. Ch 3, turn. Repeat Rowes 2 and 3
until desired length.
