M&M Cookies
1. Empty jar of cookies into large mixing bowl.
Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix.
2. Add: 1 stick butter or margarine, not diet, very soft
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp Vanilla (opt)
3. Mix until completely blended. You will need to
finish mixing with your hands
4. Shape into balls the size of walnuts.
Place 2” apart on sprayed baking sheets
5. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 t0 13 min. until edges are lightly browned. Cool 5 min. on baking sheet remove cookies to racks to finish cooling.
Makes 2 ½ dozen cookies
AMISH FRIENDSHIP BREAD
Do not use a metal spoon
Do not refrigerate
Use plastic or glass container, and leave lid slightly ajar to allow gas to escape.
Day 0 (the day you receive the batter do nothing
Day 1 Do nothing
Day 2-2-3-4-5 Stir with a wooden spoon -squeeze the bag if in a bag
Day 6 Add 1 cup sugar. 1 cup flour, and 1 cup milk
Day 7-8-9 stir with a wooden spoon- squeeze the bag
Day 10 Add 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour, and 1 cup milk
After day 10 stir the batter well. You will have four cups of batter. Measure 1 cup into a mixing bowl, and measure 2 cups (1 cup each) into two new plastic containers to give to two friends. Keep 1 cup in the original container for your self and start the ten day cycle again.
To the batter in the mixing bowl add: (this makes two loaves)
1 cup oil
1 cup milk
3 eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 ½ tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Baking soda
1 large box instant vanilla pudding mix
(can try chocolate, lemon or butterscotch pudding for variations)
1 cup nuts
Mix thoroughly. Pour into well greased and sugared (combine cinnamon and sugar in loaf pans. Sprinkle extra cinnamon-sugar on top. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Do not open oven while baking. Freezes great.
You can also add, if you wish, ½ cup coconut and/or ½ cup chocolate chips

These cookies don’t firm up till cool
Makes 2 ½ dozen
Almond Joy Brownies
Empty jar of cookie mix into large bowl,
then mix well
2. Add 1/3 cup shortening +2 tlb. Oil
Add 2 eggs
½ tsp. Vanilla
3. Mix well until blended spread batter
4. Bake at 350 degrees 30 to 35 min. till
brownies pull away from pan.
Cool slightly cut into squares
makes 16 Brownies
Cowboy Cookies
1. Empty jar of cookie mix into large bowl,
then mix well
2. Add: 1 stick margarine or butter
1 egg slightly beaten
1 tsp. Vanilla
3. Mix up well Shape into walnut size balls
4. Place onto greased sheet 2” apart
5. Bake at 350 for 11 to 13 min.
Cool 10 min. Remove to racks .

4. Bake at 350 degrees 30 to 35 min. till
brownies pull away from pan.
Cool slightly cut into squares
