Yes, that .1 at the end there means this is a bug fix release. I don't know how this slipped through my fingers, but CFFormProtect 2.0 had a major bug that made the whole thing disfunctional. So if you downloaded 2.0, please get 2.0.1 from the project site. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

that's probably the reason why it completely errored out on my BlueDragon machine ;-)

I must say that I've recently have gotten a lot of spam getting thru CFFormProtect, and I'm wondering if that's because of a mix of teh old version and the new version being installed n my machine. Luckily thru a glitch in my own code, the comments don't get posted, but still. I cannot see what's different now and before in the spam-mails. I guess I have to really dig into this!

Sorry to hear that, Sebastian. Personally I have seen 0 spam comments since I installed 2.0, but I wasn't seeing much before that though. I wonder if the spammers have forgotten about my site. :)
